A Little About Kelly!

I’ve learned that life gets interesting when you’re willing to surprise yourself.

My path to acting has never been one-dimensional. I’ve built a career in education, leadership, and public service, earned a doctorate in education, and spent years speaking to audiences, leading conversations, telling stories, and connecting with people from all walks of life. Along the way, acting and creative expression have remained an important part of who I am.

I’ve performed in principal and featured roles in independent films, television, commercials, and theater, with credits that include The Wire, The Tyra Banks Show, and numerous independent film productions.

I’ve also trained at John Casablancas Centers in commercial technique, cold reading, monologue, teleprompter, improvisation, spokesperson technique, and voice-over.

What I bring to a role is more than training. I bring life experience, curiosity, confidence, humor, and a willingness to play. I can be polished and authoritative, warm and relatable, serious, funny, sophisticated, vulnerable—or a little unexpected. I enjoy finding what makes a character human rather than approaching every role the same way.

Off camera, I’m someone who believes life should continue to evolve. I enjoy new experiences, I don’t take myself too seriously, and I’m increasingly willing to say, “Why not?” That spirit is part of what brought me to acting and what keeps me excited about where it may lead.

I’m interested in commercial, television, film, voice-over, lifestyle, and character work across a wide range of stories and genres. I’m especially excited by roles that allow me to bring authenticity, personality, and something memorable to the screen.

And yes, I fully intend to book a Hallmark movie along the way.

I’m ready to see how I surprise myself in the next act.
